It's not playing well with the American people.  The latest Rasmussen daily tracking poll
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/daily_presidential_tracking_poll
shows Great Leader is losing support faster than Nancy Pelosi is losing her caucus.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 22% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-three percent (43%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -21. That matches the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for this President.

Now while I don't put a lot of stock in polling, this is a trend that has been steadily developing through multiple polling sources and shows quite plainly that Americans are pissed as Hell at what is happening in Washington.  They are focusing on the Top Dog, and for good reason.  The ability to read a pretty speech does not necessarily translate into the ability to lead.

There are at least 17 million Americans out of work, and Congress and the President are doing jack shit about it.  Democrats keep blaming Republicans for "obstruction" when they have solid majorities in Congress.  Don't get me wrong, I like the gridlock as it stands.  All of the things liberals want to do will only make things much, much worse.  But they aren't even talking about the right things to do.

Government workers average around $70,000 per year in salary, with sweetheart pension and healthcare bennies.  Private sector workers (you know, the ones who actually pay those government workers) average around $40,000.  In the past year the number of public employees making over $100,000 has skyrocketed.  Hope and change indeed.

It's no surprise Democrat lawmakers are bailing out like rats leaving  a sinking ship.  If I may employ another cliche, the handwriting is on the wall.  If Obama and his merry band of Bolsheviks don't turn this ship around, they are going to take it in the shorts come November.  Personally, I'm looking foward with breathless anticipation.
