I would also add to Bart's comments on Afghanistan by saying that due to the tribal nature of that country, victory is not really something that we should expect to achieve. There are literally 100's of tribes, so the chances of getting them all to come to the table to agree are pretty slim. Democracy in Afghanistan isn't gonna happen, the best we can hope for there is to whip the shit out of the terrorist scum that are causing mayhem.
